RIZE — Revolutionary Independent Zimbabwe Entrepreneurs — is the social enterprise Barney founded and has chaired since 2013. It targets young people in Zimbabwe, South Africa and the diaspora, promoting self-belief, unity and creative entrepreneurship through education, empowerment and leadership development.
RIZE is the through-line of Barney’s whole story: the conviction that talent is everywhere but opportunity isn’t, and that entrepreneurship is the most durable route out of that gap.
